Biography

June M. Toth, a Principal at WilkinGuttenplan, has over 30 years of experience in strategically advising her clients in a variety of industries, including but not limited to, not-for-profits, professional services, franchises, and wholesalers.

She has extensive experience in attest functions, such as compilations, reviews, and audits, and has provided expert reports and testimony in complex litigation matters, including calculations of damages and fraud and forensic investigations. June also has experience with HUD and Single Audit, as well as guardianships and estates.

Before joining the firm in 2023, June was the managing member of the zbt Certified Public Accounting & Consulting, LLC firm located in Edison. June regularly lectures on accounting and auditing topics and provides peer review services to other accounting firms. She is a member of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJCPA), where she served as a member of the PAC Board of Trustees, Peer Review Executive Committee, Strategic Planning Committee, and Committee Operations Committee. June has served in various capacities for several not-for-profit entities, including municipal bodies, as well as for charitable organizations. She was a Group and Vice Group Leader of the Business Valuation, Forensic & Litigation Services Interest Group and is an active participant in the Accounting & Auditing and not-for-profit interest groups.

I would be an Archeologist.

What advice would you give to the next generation of CPAs and Advisors?

Get a mentor, and pursue volunteer opportunities at membership organizations. Challenge yourself and break out of your comfort zone.
